Canel
Can Canel is a film and TV composer and music producer.
He is recognized as the youngest Turkish composer to have scored a commercially produced, big-budget Turkish feature film. His work includes films and TV series that have been released and streamed in Turkiye, as well as in the USA, Europe, the Balkans, Latin America, and parts of Asia.
At the age of 17, while attending Berklee’s Five-Week Summer Program, he received the Financial Award as part of the North American Scholarship Tour and earned a scholarship to study at Berklee College of Music.
He continued his education with a double major in Film Scoring and Composition. During his time at Berklee, he attended masterclasses and seminars with industry leaders such as Michael Giacchino, Pete Docter, Ramin Djawadi, Ludwig Göransson, Christopher Young, and David Lang.
Canel graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Film Scoring from Berklee College of Music in December 2020.
